Loren Shevitz is an active member of the community. He is on the executive board of the Jewish Bar Association of Michigan. Loren has worked as a law clerk at the State of Michigan, Wayne State Law Clinics, Oakland County, and Lakeshore Legal Aid. He has professional experience in family law, traffic court, criminal law, and intellectual property.

When Loren has free time from the law, he plays keyboard and sings in a Beatles band. He has participated in barbershop music competitions, both as a quartet singer and as a chorus member. He also enjoys playing pickleball and singing karaoke.

Loren earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in Psychology, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, and a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University.
